NOTE THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE 'DIP TANK' METHOD OF STRIPPING AND OUR 'FLOW OVER' METHOD AND WHY OURS IS SUPERIOR
DOORS AND WOODWORK
With the DIP TANK method a 3' to 4' tank is used with 3 feet of chemical. Items are soaked until the paint/varnish comes off. Sludge forms at the bottom of the tank. Normally tanks are only cleaned about 1 time per year. In the interim only the sludge at the bottom of the tank is removed and chemical continues to be added to the same tank. As a result particles from the paint/varnish gets stuck in the crevices of the doors or woodwork and is never fully removed.
We use 4" of chemical to flow over doors and other pieces until stripped. We then wash the pieces and put items in a second tank with 4"+f chemical. At this point items are washed and brushed to remove all debris. Both tanks are cleaned 4 to 6 times every day. With our method most of the lead is removed from your doors or woodwork.
